Late night learning

Its 1:50am and I am still up fondling the Droid...at some point in this relationship a restraining order may be needed!  I posted a question on a forum and received some really good feedback that I had to follow up on. A guy told me to put the phone in safe mode...yeah like you do with the computer to see if the lag existed at that point.  I had never heard that you could put the phone in safe mode. It took me three tries only because I have patience issues otherwise it was quick and easy.
The lag didn't exist and it was like the phone I initially fell in love with. It was perfection squared but the best part would be to have that performance in regular mode.
I will attempt yet another factory reset...waiting for some further information from the nice forum guy to proceed. I am waiting, ever so patiently for October (upgrade time) before I attempt further "play" just in case I'm not successful.

I'm no professional photographer or anything but I do enjoy taking pictures of almost ANYTHING. I like the concept of this app, simply because I used to have this feature on my old digital camera. My problem with this app is there is no option to turn the flash on or use the zoom.

DROID doesn't...shhh, don't tell too many people...lol

As I've stated before...I have been having a love affair...yes, a love affair with my DROID. You have all seen the commercials...DROID DOES...well it has been my experience that there are some things that DROID doesn't. I don't particularly like to admit it but the "almighty Iphone sure has a laundry list of doesn'ts too!
I'm hoping by listing them either someone will point me to how it actually DOES or Google will make sure that it DOES in the not too distant future. One can only wish, hope and pray...so here it goes...

*PHONE OFF/ALARM STILL SOUNDS
I don't remember which of my many phones in the past were able to do this but I know for a fact that the Blackberry does it now. This is really convenient in terms of battery saver. Not only that but sometimes you don't want the other notifications sounding.
A wish would be to be able to turn off notifications from certain people during those hours one click so that if you forget its something simple to do without waking up completely...lol

*CALENDAR: EVENT REOCCURRING EVERY 2 WEEKS
Why wouldn't this option be available? Every 2 weeks seems like the most common reoccurrance ever! I think this is the most annoying aspect of using the calendar on the DROID.

*EASY SCREENSHOTS
I believe it may be easy if you are rooted but I'm talking about for the non-rooted, not tied to the desktop screenshots. One of the home replacement apps has it...I think it should be standard!

Are there any more that I have missed??
Are any of these options available in the Droid X or Droid 2?

Outplacement Services
So, I was thinking, what would be the term for outplacement services if the same information was imparted to high school seniors and college students. Is there a term for that already. Having been through some outplacement services sessions recently, I think EVERYONE could benefit from this information. If this information is ingrained in your being when you actually NEED it, it would be easier.
The most valuable part of the whole idea of the outplacement sessions for me was the sense of reality about the current job market but at the same time the CONFIDENCE that you, well I, have something valuable and unique to offer some company/organization.

So, with all that being said, is there anyone out there looking for a quirky, shy individual who has a passion for organization, technology, writing, music, research, list making and helping people among a few things?

Its Friday, unemployed Friday is so different from employed Friday. Although I've been busy and productive its just not the same.

What I have enjoyed is:

-actually making a list and being able to complete it all...that's just so fulfilling!!!
-making my list of WHAT I THINK I WANT TO DO and finding out the pros and cons with just a google or two...LOL
-working on my social media profiles,its a great way to get to know you and the you that you want others to know so that they want to know you...whew!
-spending time with my DROID...gotta love that phone but along the way I have found there are things not to love.

Well...off to begin the weekend (I have no TO-DOs as they are ALL DONE, now I've gotta make stuff up...LOL)
